Moving to Manila

It took month prepping all the papers and prepping. Including relearning how a cat uses a crate when traveling.

Furniture was brought in from the office, and that is when Dalia knew...
Large items tags
Small items boxed
Loaded into the truck
Just the cat and the dust bunnies were left by the movers.
Flying to Bangkok for Dalia's export papers.  Dalia traveled Cargo

With cat and human paperwork in hand, we are ready to fly to the Philippines

Arrived safely.

Quilt - Curved Log Cabin with Lonestar

Shopping to get supplies from the market.

I spent a long time trying to find the best order.

The squares start from the tiny center and then grow out.

A cheaply made board allowed me to put up the pieces and see them pieced together.

When the quilt face is finished, it is time to add the backing

Quilting with a small machine was tricky, and Dalia napping on the end didn't help.

Thanksgiving

If you have been following my blog, then you know it is my tradition to make a thankfulness tree.  We write what we are thankful for on leaves and stick them on the tree.  Next year, I will edit them, before they are added to the tree.  Who knows what the other teachers will think, when they see some of the errors. ;)

We ate ice cream, pumpkin pie, deviled eggs, and sausage balls.  The favorite was the sausage balls.

We hung up some traditional decorations.

We also made the ice cream in class.  Here they are, hard at work, measuring out the ingredients.

My Classroom

This is actually my room last school year.
