I stayed with some friends who lived in a small town south of London. There was a delightful park to visit and trails to hike.
We went on a walking tour in London to see some of the main sights, such as changing of the guard, Buckingham Palace, Parliament, Westminster, and Big Ben.
The next day we drove to Seven Sisters and then Dover Castle.
Another day we went to Audley End a manor house set up as it would have been functioning in the late 1800's. It was complete with servant quarters, stables, and working vegetable gardens.
Then I took a train to Edinburgh.
Then we drove to Bath, where we climbed the abbey's bell tower, passing Stonehenge.
