Spanish Architecture, Sprinkled with French Influence, And Folded into Mexican Culture.

I have always loved looking at beautifully designed buildings, and these are a sample of what I walk past everyday. With this much detail, it is hard not to see something new every time I go by. We will start this journey with some lovely iron work.


Here is one of the windows. Since it is in the Historical Center, even if it is falling apart it has to be maintained.
Here's a bit of creativity with bricks.
The little diamond shapes are tile. Look for it in other buildings as well. One of the big things here is the hand made tile and pottery. Look forward to another post about that soon.
Sometimes bell towers aren't needed.




All the street lights in this area are dragons. Pretty neat!





The clock is a gift from France and the rooster is a symbol of France.
