I Passed! (Roughage lived!)

Before Picture 4 Months Ago

Picture taken today! See all the new leaves and how they've grown!

Capilano Bridge

They had Totem poles here too. Each tells a story, before I read about it. I thought this was a story of Pepto.

I will let them tell you, so you don't think I am lying

Oh... I am about to be on a cable bridge 230 ft in the air... I wasn't just going to skip across.
You can't see it swaying, but it was like walking on a swing.
View of the river half way.

Treetop adventure. Think Swiss Family Robinson.

I am as tall as a 13 year old Cedar.
And as big around as a... I wouldn't tell you if I knew
Only one way back.

Stanley Park

It is located just outside the city
Explanation behind the poles

Here's a few more
It must be beautiful in the spring and summer

La Casa Gelato

Nestled in the middle of an industrial area there is a pink building. It was 35F and it would snow 10 inches withing 7 hours of our visit, but when you boast of 218 gelato flavors on site, you are worth the visit.
Luckily they assign someone to walk around as you look at the flavors and are prepared to provide you with a taste.
Four different cotton candy flavors!!!
For all my Asian minded readers. For the Texans, there was jalapeno and chocolate jalapeno.
Four sample tastes and an intense debate later, I settled for fudge. If I go back I will get the chocolate english toffee. If you are ever in Vancouver, make the trip. It is worth it!

The drive home

I dislike duplicates, but I couldn't choose just one. Most of them are from the Bay of Lyons.

One more stop

Snow-butterflies!!! Or frost crystals. This sat on the top of the snow along the ridge.
My superhuman strength. Push! Push!
The Olympic jumps. These peeps were standing at the bottom. HUGE!!!

Whistler

This is Whistler Village, snuggled at the foot of the two mountains.
This is a huge mountain and you can ski from the very top.
Whistler is actually made of Whistler and Blackcomb. This is the valley between the two.
You take a gondola to the top of the peak (a 15 minute trip), rather than a lift, and then you take another gondola between the peaks.
This is the amazing view from the top.
