Thanksgiving - Progressive Dinner

Woke up to find fluffy white stuff all over the place. Good part about public transportation is that you don't have to drive on the ice. Bad part is that it is cold waiting for the bus.
Where are you skytrain?
There you are!
They don't know they are missing an awesome holiday.
Dress code is blue jeans and white socks.
Appetizers! Let the feasting begin!
The only snowman I saw today. It is quite pitiful too. They need some Texans to come hold some snowman building classes.
Watchin' the snow pile up while we wait for the skytrain.
Down to street level from the skytrain.
Oregon trail to house #2! Bundle up, wrap the children, and pack out the stroller, cause it is time to eat.
You see more, when you have to walk.
All the traditional dishes.
Looks so innocent, but I was hurtin' before I left.
Tradition of one of the other families. Say something you are thankful for and then add a teaspoon of water to the teacup.
Getting close to overflowing! Look at the bubble of water at the rim.
Traverse to house #3!
View from the 27th story! Bet they see Santa visit their neighbors' houses.
Dessert! Yummy! How we ate it I am not sure, but we did.

Go Canucks!

This is what happens to you, when you sit too close to the TV while the Canucks are playing.
They are playing Colorado's team the Avalanche. We even got to sing the National Anthem! Our seats were center to the goals. Great Seats!
Zamboni!!!
Let the games begin!

First snow of the season!

It snowed in Texas a couple of weeks ago, but this is the first I've seen the white stuff here. These are just some of the houses I pass by on my way to the skytrain station.

Hmmm...

Look closely and perhaps you will see the wooden rocking chair. Every time I pass by this house I start singing "Home on the Range," but don't be fooled. This cozy cottage is snuggled in a neighborhood of apartment complexes and townhouses.
The purpose of taking the picture was to capture the reflection of the pink sunset. No, this isn't a volcano, just some odd cloud formations.

Vancouver - World Tour 2010

Trying to reach a city when the majority do not want to hear, it is a fresh breath to see 10,900 students raising their hands to the only One who matters in this world. I spent most of my time watching the students and asking for their hearts to be captivated and that they will be called to the ends of the earth. It was great or at least the half that I heard was. I volunteered so I didn't catch it all.

This is my shirt

The volunteers had a room at top. Some of them wore green shirts in addition to the orange.
We heard the sound check before volunteer orientation. It took place at the Rogers Arena. Go Canucks!!! (hockey)10,900 students attended, not including the 320 volunteers.
